Yoga is something which is widely done by every person. whether it is a old person, a kid or an adolescent, yoga is beneficial for every age group. it is widely believed India is the origin of yoga. yoga is a mixture of physical, mental and spiritual practices. I am practicing yoga since my teenage and i can definitely tell you i got the benefit out of it. yoga has changed my body, it got flexible and it calms my mind. And it is also believed that practicing yoga for so long can give you many benefits when you get old, you will not suffer from many chronic diseases and will not be ill.
Yoga the medicine
I still remember my experiences with emotions, i was very short tempered and highly emotional person, even though i try a lot to control it previously, it something which keeps on occurring every time, i think it is with everyone. I just want myself to change in a positive person at least not a over thinker, so i start meditating and practicing yoga for 1 year.
yoga is something which got highly popular in the whole world, people practicing yoga feel changes in their body.
here i am gonna tell you different types of yoga postures and how it gonna benefit not only your body but also your soul.
6 types of yoga and their benefits-
1) kundalini yoga - this yoga is define as coiled or serpentine like posture. this yoga is good for your mind if you have negative things coming into your mind or if you are a over thinker, this yoga is believed to do with mantra or kriyas (phrases used to chant) in which you can fully concentrate deep inside your mind. it helps you to control your mind and body. it stimulates energy and soothes your mind and make you stress free. this can also be said as one type of meditation.
2) Iyenger yoga- this yoga is developed by B.K.S Iyenger, he described in his best selling book ''light on yoga'' in which he gave complete detail about this yoga. this yoga posture comes different props like chair, blocks, blanket to give support to the asanas. it can helpful for toned body and improves your posture. And also helpful for pain relief and gives you flexible body.
3) Vinyasa Yoga- this form of yoga is called as '' flow yoga'', it means variation. this posture can be done by stringing postures from together with the help of using breath. it helps in increasing your flexibilty, develops your muscle and good to improve your heart health , helps in burn calorie as well as improves your mental health.
4) Hatha Yoga- this yoga is a practice of breath, mind and body. it means'' force''. it is believed that term ''ha'' means sun and ''tha'' means moon in which combines the energy of both. it helps balancing metabolism, reduces your weight, gives you a healthy skin, increase flexibility.
5) Bikram Yoga- it is called as a hot yoga which is done in a hot and humid whether condition about 105f or 40 degree C and above. this exercise is good for those who wants to loose weight. it consists of 26 postures, it mainly helps you to burn calories, improves your cardiovascular fitness and gives you flexible and toned body.
6) Anusara yoga- it is the modern form of the hatha yoga. it is a yoga posture which is define as identifying the inner goodness in oneself.the term anusara means '' flowing with nature'', '' flowing with grace'', and '' following your heart''. the benefits of this yoga is it gives your body grace, reduces your stress and gives you flexible body with good mental health.
All these yogas are most beneficial and can give you life changing experience with your body and mind. we people sometimes go with our emotions, get lots of negative thoughts, almost running a over thinking process and make our mind weak. yoga is a cure if you are looking to control your mind and body and also your emotions.
